Where most of us start. Under pressure, your nervous system often decides first, and familiar patterns take over. We begin by learning to see them, so you notice what your system is doing as it happens: in the meeting, the hard conversation, the long week, and not only afterwards.
Agency and choice in how you respond. With breath as the lever, you learn to read your state in real time and reach the one the moment calls for. Your values become the compass, so you have a moment to choose before the old pattern chooses for you.
What emerges when you stop living from survival: more time in the states that let you think, connect and lead, a quicker way back when pressure pulls you off course, and more room for focus, curiosity, connection, creativity and play. The art and science of embodied thriving.

Caribbean-rooted. Working worldwide.
Before this, I spent about 17.5 years at a Point Lisas ammonia plant. My first job, right out of school, was to operate an expensive, complicated, dangerous system under pressure. I didn't know there were no women doing the job. I was the first on the island. I left as an Assistant Shift Supervisor to study Linguistics, as one does. Language is complex and sometimes more dangerous than an ammonia plant.
